Job Summary
The Brand Designer is in charge of the brand’s social media identity, creating digital assets for NBA-branded merchandise, marketing campaigns and key moments.
Key Responsibilities
Works in collaboration with the Associate Brand Marketing Manager in conceptualizing and producing engaging content requirements for NBA Store PH
Design engaging social media posters and graphics to promote NBA products and key moments(NBA Playoffs, finals, milestones, etc.) with a heavy focus on footwear and apparel
Produce content using both templated layouts for quick-turnaround product drops and original, brand-new designs for major campaigns and key NBA moments.
Capture and produce digital content, showcasing an mid-level skill set in photography and short-form video (Reels/IG Story)
Brainstorm with the marketing team to align visual outputs with social calendars, retail launches, and real-time league events (e.g., All-Star Weekend, The Finals).
Keep updated on internet culture, design formats, and emerging social media features to keep the NBA’s product marketing fresh and relevant.
Collaborate with other teams to align brand storytelling with business objectives
Qualifications:
Experience in graphic design, digital media and content creation
Must possess a comprehensive understanding of NBA teams, players, culture and history of the game
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) is required; experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Canva is a plus
Functional knowledge of framing, lighting, and editing for both photography and short-form video
Deep understanding of the mechanics behind Instagram Posts/Reels and website asset creation. (banners)
