Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and passionate Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high\-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Android app development, a solid understanding of mobile application architecture, and the ability to deliver scalable, user\-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications. * Build clean, efficient, and reusable code using Kotlin and/or Java. * Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver high\-quality mobile applications. * Integrate RESTful APIs and third\-party services. * Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness. * Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and bugs. * Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality. * Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store. * Stay up to date with Android SDK updates, industry trends, and best practices. * Maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). * **2–4\+ years of experience** in Android application development. * Strong proficiency in **Kotlin** and/or **Java**. * Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and Jetpack libraries. * Good understanding of MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture. * Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON. * Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, and Firebase. * Familiarity with Git version control. * Understanding of Material Design principles. * Strong debugging, problem\-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Jetpack Compose. * Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and Dependency Injection (Hilt or Dagger). * Experience with Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, and Cloud Messaging. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. * Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store. * Understanding of app security, performance optimization, and testing frameworks.
