Graphic Designer

Full-time | Permanent | $39.00/hour | Minimum 30 hours/week
ORONIA is looking for an experienced and skilled Graphic Designer to join our team in Surrey, BC.
This is a hands-on design role covering brand identity, product packaging, digital marketing, e-commerce, and print production. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking projects from concept development through final production and working closely with marketing, product development teams, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain consistent brand identity and visual systems across print and digital channels
- Design product packaging, labels, brochures, and point-of-sale materials
- Create digital marketing assets including website banners, email campaigns, social media content, and online promotional materials
- Design and optimize website layouts, landing pages, and e-commerce graphics
- Apply UX principles and responsive design to digital content
- Develop visual concepts for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and branding initiatives
- Manage multiple design projects from concept through final delivery
- Coordinate with printers, photographers, and packaging manufacturers to ensure production quality
- Research design trends, typography, and competitor packaging to develop effective creative solutions
Qualifications
- University degree in visual arts with a specialization in graphic design, commercial art, graphic communications, or cartooning, or completion of a college diploma program in graphic arts
- Significant hands-on professional experience in graphic design within a commercial or corporate environment
- A strong professional portfolio demonstrating packaging, digital media, and branding projects
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience with UI/UX design, responsive web/mobile layouts, and e-commerce graphics
- Practical knowledge of commercial printing, colour management, and structural packaging standards
- Professional written and verbal English communication skills
