<h3><strong>About The Role</strong></h3> <p>Together AI is rapidly scaling its compute infrastructure across multiple sites and deployment types. The Associate, Infrastructure Strategy & Operations will be the analytical backbone of the Infrastructure Strategy team, powering the research, benchmarking, and operational analysis across the team's core workstreams, including capacity planning, compute sourcing, vendor evaluation, and site selection.</p> <p>You'll be the person who keeps the team organized and well-informed as infrastructure scales, partnering closely with Infra Eng and Finance to ensure timely, data-backed decisions.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Support the Infrastructure Strategy team's planning process by gathering data, running comparisons, and preparing materials and recommendations for leadership reviews.</li> <li>Build internal trackers and dashboards that help the team monitor infrastructure deployments, vendor pipelines, and compute usage across products and customers. </li> <li>Develop and maintain comparison frameworks for infrastructure sourcing decisions (such as deploying owned vs. leased compute, location strategy, vendor selection, site evaluation) in partnership with Finance and Infra Eng.</li> <li>Run ad hoc analyses to support capacity planning decisions.</li> <li>Research and evaluate data center sites and energy sourcing options, comparing power availability, connectivity, permitting timelines, deployment readiness, and reliability.</li> <li>Champion process improvements across the Infrastructure Strategy function, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, and Finance to design AI-native workflows that streamline operations and automate repetitive analysis.</li> <li>Take on ad hoc analytical projects as priorities evolve, operating with speed and minimal direction.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, strategy, or a similar analytically rigorous role.</li> <li>Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools, and comfort with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).</li> <li>Strong quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and comfort building analyses from scratch.</li> <li>Ability to learn new domains quickly and operate effectively in unfamiliar territory.</li> <li>Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep information current.</li> <li>Clear communicator who can present data and comparisons to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Prior experience at a high-growth startup or AI company.</li> <li>Exposure to cloud infrastructure, data center strategy, or GPU/compute procurement.</li> <li>Interest or background in power markets, energy procurement, and/or hardware.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>About Together AI</strong></h3> <p>Together AI is an AI-native cloud company building the infrastructure to make AI faster, cheaper, and more accessible. Our research team has contributed to breakthroughs like FlashAttention, Hyena, and RedPajama, and we co-design across software, hardware, and algorithms to push the frontier of AI efficiency.</p> <h3><strong>Compensation</strong></h3> <p>We offer competitive compensation, startup equity, health insurance, and other benefits, as well as flexibility in terms of remote work. The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $140-170K + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by location, level and role.
