We're looking for an Analytics Engineer (Service Charges) to join our Business Intelligence team and play a key role in delivering the data, reporting and analytics that support service charge management across Torus.

Using SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, you'll work with data from end to end, ingesting, transforming and modelling information from multiple systems before turning it into high-quality dashboards, reports and actionable insights. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll help ensure teams have the accurate, robust and trusted information they need to understand performance, identify trends and support informed decision-making.

Alongside a varied and impactful workload, you'll have the opportunity to continue developing your skills in Microsoft Fabric, AI and emerging data technologies, helping you stay at the forefront of modern analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Working arrangements:

At Torus, we offer an agile approach to working, with the team typically spending Tuesdays in our Liverpool City Centre office as a set office day. Travel to other Torus locations will also be required from time to time, in line with business needs and the requirements of the role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ingesting, transforming and reporting on organisational data using SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to provide meaningful insight across the business.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports and analytics solutions that support service charge management and performance reporting.
  • Modelling and analysing complex service charge and financial data to support forecasting, decision-making and business planning.
  • Writing and maintaining SQL scripts to automate reporting and improve the efficiency of data processes.
  • Working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and develop effective performance measures.
  • Supporting data quality, governance and integrity, ensuring information is accurate, consistent and reliable.
  • Producing and maintaining clear documentation for reports, dashboards and data processes.
  • Analysing and challenging performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Developing processes that ensure reporting is robust, reconciled and presented in a user-friendly way.
  • Supporting the consistent management and delivery of performance information across the Group.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and AI, to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Reviewing and developing reports and performance measures to ensure they continue to meet business needs and priorities.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in an Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence or data-focused role.
  • Advanced SQL skills, with experience transforming, analysing and reporting on large, complex datasets.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including SSRS, SSIS and SSAS.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and business intelligence principles.
  • Experience working with complex datasets, including financial or service charge-related data.
  • Ability to turn data into clear, meaningful insights that support business performance and decision-making.
  • Experience maintaining data quality, governance and reporting integrity across multiple data sources.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and accessible way.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and AI-driven analytics.
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience, alongside a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Interview process:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a competency-based interview at our Liverpool City Centre office, which will take place on either Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th or Thursday 12th November 2026. This will be an opportunity for you to tell us more about your experience, technical skills and approach to delivering data-driven insights, while also learning more about the role, team and wider Torus Group.
