The Payroll Analyst will assist with the processing and coordination all aspects of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for over 3,000 employees in the US & Canada
Description

Processes weekly & bi-weekly payroll, reports, reconciliations, year-end procedures and W-2’s for multi-state employees.

Ensures the accurate processing of all mandatory and voluntary deductions as well as garnishments, liens, direct deposit requests, 401K loans, etc.

Responds to inquiries and verifications for unemployment and other payroll-related data.

Maintains related records, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management.

Ensures legal compliance in completing all paperwork including all Federal, State and Local laws regarding payroll administration.

Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures as they relate to payroll.

Processes weekly, bi-weekly, special compensation, commission, and bonus checks with the highest standard of accuracy and timeliness.

Counsel and resolve employee payroll issues.

Ability to create and analyze reports on an as needed basis.

Keeps current in trends and regulations as they relate to the payroll function.

Perform other special projects or duties when required
Required Skills
-
BA degree
-
Excellent English skills both written and verbal
-
Excellent communications and customer services skills. Ability to interface well with a variety of employees at all levels under deadline pressure required.

Minimum 2 years of direct payroll experience

Workday experience preferred

Computer literacy to include MS Office products as well as payroll software

Able to accurately multi-task and extreme attention to detail essential
