ABOUT THIS JOB
We’re looking for a resourceful developer who can independently build landing pages, implement tracking and integrations, and troubleshoot campaign issues. You should bring strong practical development skills, use AI tools effectively, and learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build responsive landing pages, multistep forms, and offer pages from designs or briefs, including validation, loading states, error handling, and mobile usability.
- Configure tracking parameters, including ad-platform macros, UTMs, click IDs, and affiliate identifiers, and preserve them across redirects, forms, and connected systems.
- Implement and troubleshoot browser and server-side conversion events, including event timing, payloads, identifier matching, and deduplication.
- Connect forms and campaign flows to lead-delivery endpoints and third-party APIs, managing authentication, responses, and error handling.
- Manage DNS, subdomains, redirects, SSL, and email-related DNS records using Cloudflare and hosting platforms.
- Use browser DevTools, network inspection, and server logs to diagnose issues, investigate reporting discrepancies, and verify the full journey from ad click through lead delivery and conversion reporting.
- Work within existing repositories, CMSs, and site builders; use Git and manage environment variables, deployments, and rollbacks.
- Deliver fast, accessible pages with secure form handling. Clarify requirements, identify dependencies, communicate blockers, and document changes and remaining limitations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Strong practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including browser behavior, third-party scripts, and component-based development.
- Proficiency with a modern frontend framework and the ability to contribute to existing Next.js, SvelteKit, and Tailwind projects.
- Working knowledge of HTTP, JSON, APIs, URL encoding, cookies, and browser storage.
- Understanding of how advertising platforms, tracking links, landing pages, forms, and lead-delivery systems connect, including how campaign and affiliate identifiers move between them.
- Proficiency with LLMs and AI coding tools for development, debugging, research, and documentation. Ability to provide clear context, break down tasks, and review and test AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and compatibility.
- Sound judgment when using AI: verify uncertain outputs against documentation and system behavior, and protect credentials, customer information, and internal data.
- Ability to work independently, learn through documentation and investigation, and demonstrate practical development and troubleshooting skills through previous work or hands-on examples.
