Help education providers get more value from MAYTAS while growing its impact across apprenticeships and work-based learning.

Tribal is a leading EdTech company providing software and services that support education institutions globally. Our Sales team works with customers across further education, higher education, training and employability to improve learner outcomes and deliver sustainable growth.

About MAYTAS

MAYTAS is Tribal's learner and apprenticeship management platform for training providers, colleges, universities and employer providers. It brings together enrolment, learner records, progress tracking, evidence and assessment, employer engagement and funding compliance, helping customers manage apprenticeship and skills programmes efficiently from one place.

About the Role

As Account Director, Existing Business - MAYTAS, you will lead commercial growth and relationship development across an established customer base. You will identify opportunities to expand the products and services customers use, strengthen retention and help organisations gain greater value from MAYTAS. This is a consultative, target-driven role working closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Customer Success and the wider Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Grow revenue within the existing MAYTAS customer base by identifying relevant upsell and cross-sell opportunities and delivering agreed sales targets.

Build trusted relationships with customers at multiple stakeholder levels, lead regular account reviews and understand their priorities, adoption challenges and retention risks.

Develop effective account and deal plans, maintain an accurate sales pipeline and produce reliable monthly forecasts and management reports.

Work with Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Success and the wider Sales team to support campaigns, bids, pre-sales activity and customer events, while ensuring market and customer insight is shared internally.

Help customers maximise the value of MAYTAS, prepare for change and adopt effective approaches across apprenticeship and work-based learning delivery.

What You'll Bring

A proven track record in sales, account management or business development within education or EdTech, ideally across apprenticeships, work-based learning, further education or higher education.

Experience selling software and services and growing existing customer accounts through consultative upselling and cross-selling, supported by strong commercial and negotiation skills.

Good knowledge of apprenticeships and work-based learning, with the drive, credibility and organisation to influence senior stakeholders, manage priorities and deliver against sales targets.

Desirable:

Experience selling learner or student management systems, apprenticeship platforms or comparable education technology.

Knowledge of learner management systems, ePortfolios, Student Information Systems or apprenticeship funding and compliance.

Work Setup

This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom. Customer travel is typically required around one day per week, depending on customer and business needs.

Right to Work

We welcome applications from individuals who already have the right to work in the UK. Tribal may consider sponsorship in limited circumstances – please check the job posting for details.
