Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as R, Python, SQL, and VBA to identify trends and patterns.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective data solutions.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables by applying project management principles throughout the data analysis lifecycle.
  • Maintain and optimize databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design best practices for efficient data retrieval.
  • Support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for analytics projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Document processes using Visio and create detailed reports that support strategic decision-making.

Skills

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI for creating compelling dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with programming languages including R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data manipulation and automation.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles to structure data effectively for analysis.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies to manage analytics projects from conception through deployment.
  • Business analysis skills to interpret requirements accurately and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive analysis using advanced techniques in Excel or similar platforms.

Pay: £25,420.00-£62,894.48 per year
