Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Product Management to lead our organization’s product strategy and innovation initiatives. Duties
- Define and execute the overarching product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational objectives and market trends.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of product managers, engineers, designers, and analysts to deliver innovative products that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of key projects.
- Oversee the development of enterprise solutions utilizing technologies such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure), virtualization (vSphere), and advanced system architecture.
- Drive data-driven decision making by leveraging analysis skills in SQL, Python, machine learning, and AI to optimize product performance and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with security standards including PCI DSS for payment systems and implement robust network security protocols such as VPNs, firewalls, DNS management, and system administration best practices.
- Manage vendor relationships for technology procurement, licensing agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring value-driven partnerships.
- Establish best practices for SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), change management, IT governance, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity strategies.
Skills
- Extensive experience in technical project & program management within a fast-paced environment; supervisory experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), virtualization (vSphere), network security (firewall, DNS), and enterprise IT infrastructure including SAN storage solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, PHP, Node.js; frameworks like Angular and React; databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; and tools like MPLS networks.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards including PCI DSS compliance; expertise in network administration, system design, APIs integration, DevOps practices (CI/CD), and application development.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams managing software engineering projects using Agile methodologies; experience managing software development teams is essential.
- Familiarity with enterprise solutions such as ERP systems; expertise in IT infrastructure management including server management, network administration, virtualization technologies like vSphere and SAN storage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders; strategic management capabilities are crucial for success in this role.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing budgets, vendor negotiations, risk management processes, and compliance with NIST standards for information security.
