Purpose of Job:

The Project Manager is responsiblef or the planning, management direction, project completioann,d client satisfaction of

assigned building serviceps rojects. They will be required to coordinate all contractual requirementuss,i ng design drawings

and project specifications tot ender and deliver works on behalf of the Client.A cting as the Project Management

Consultant, strong communication and organisational skills are required otove rsee the C ontractor and organise

stakeholders to deliver MEP projectsin operational building s .

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ On-site Project Managemen t

+ Project Coordination and Project Controls

+ Design Planning and Coordination

+ Technical Reviews

+ Tender Management and Analysi s

+ Project Programming

+ Chairing Weekly Progress Meetings and Assigning Actions

+ Project Progress Report Generation

+ Change Managemen t

+ Warranty Review & Procurement

Requirements:

+ Understandingt he applicationo f Project Management through RIBA design stage s

+ Understanding statutory and regulatory compliance requiremenwtsit hin CDM environments

+ Experience of working within an office and/or design team environme nt

+ Excellent team worker

+ Experience in managing and running projectfsr om £100k to £2m+ construction value

+ Understanding IMS and QA procedures

+ Demonstrable building services knowledge skills gained with working in a Building Services environm ent

+ Experience of all Microsoft package sincluding MS Projec t

+ Commitment to maintaining hig-hquality standards with an eye for deta il

+ Commit to goals and objectives of a career development programme including attendance o-fh ionuse and external

technical and non-technical trainin g

+ Relevant experience and working towards professional membershiapn d / or chartership .

+ Familiarise and learn about sustainable low energy initiatives and to share this with other members of your team and

wider within the Partnership

Person Specification:

Essential Desirable

Knowledge + Knowledge of various project lifecycles and + Knowledge of Contract Administration

+ Familiar with a tender process and analysis for contract suites

selecting / proposing contractor s + Understanding of RIBA design stages and

+ Demonstrable building services knowledge

gained through working in a building services

environment

Skills + Organised and able to stay on top of + Ability to use Microsoft Project to manage a

+ Strong communication and presentation skill s + Ability to manage a cost plan throughout a

+ Confidence to chair meetings to ensure project lifecycle
