About the Role
Join a customer-facing engineering team at a venture-backed enterprise AI software company. You will work directly with enterprise customers to understand complex operational challenges and build practical software solutions that make a measurable impact.
What You'll Do

Travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally for up to 50% of your time to understand their needs and develop solutions.

Design, prototype, and ship working software quickly across varied customer environments and technology stacks.

Partner with forward deployed engineers and software engineers during customer engagements and pilots.

Share customer insights and product learnings with the core product team.

Prepare and deliver demos and pilots for prospective customers in manufacturing, automotive, retail, and financial services.
What We're Looking For

One to five years of experience as a customer-facing full-stack software engineer or forward deployed engineer, including at least one year shipping production code.

Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Python, LangChain, and Vercel AI SDK, with familiarity with Rust, SQL, REST APIs, cloud infrastructure, enterprise data systems, and AI or LLM tooling.

Strong systems design skills and the ability to turn customer problems into scalable technical solutions, while remaining flexible about technology choices.

A degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field, with strong technical fundamentals.

Startup, founder, or early-stage company experience, and a record of commitment in previous roles.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is £100,000 to £175,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid in London, United Kingdom, with travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally for up to 50% of the time.
