Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Housekeeping Operations Management
- Oversee daily housekeeping activities across all assigned properties.
- Implement and enforce standardized cleaning SOPs for rooms, common areas, and amenities.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with cleanliness and hygiene standards.
2. Cleaning Standards & Chemical Management
- Ensure staff are trained in the correct usage, dilution, and handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, materials, and consumables for all properties.
- Evaluate and select chemical products and equipment based on safety, efficiency, and cost.
- Ensure adherence to MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) guidelines and chemical safety protocols.
3. Soft Services Oversight
- Manage and coordinate soft services such as waste management, laundry, pest control, and linen services.
- Liaise with F&B/kitchen teams (if applicable) for sanitation compliance.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and environmental standards.
4. Vendor & Workforce Management
- Oversee housekeeping vendor contracts, performance, and SLA adherence.
- Manage outsourced teams and ensure optimal staffing at each property.
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
- Conduct periodic training and skill development for housekeeping staff.
5. Quality Assurance & Audits
- Develop property-wise audit checklists and conduct periodic quality audits.
- Ensure rapid resolution of resident complaints related to cleaning or hygiene.
- Track and improve housekeeping KPIs such as turnaround time, inspection scores, and service quality metrics.
6. Budgeting & Resource Optimization
- Prepare and manage budgets for housekeeping operations.
- Optimize usage of chemicals, materials, and consumables to reduce wastage.
- Monitor cost per room/bed and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
7. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding sanitation and chemical management.
- Implement safety protocols for housekeeping teams (PPE usage, chemical handling, equipment safety).
- Maintain documentation of training, MSDS sheets, and compliance audits.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
- 5–10+ years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in coliving, hospitality, or facility management.
- Experience managing multi-location operations and large housekeeping teams.
- Knowledge of cleaning machinery (scrubbers, vacuum systems), chemicals, and safety protocols.
