Tasks
Overall responsibility for managing the Rolling Stock and Rail Vehicle Business Area, and the assigned departments in Germany
Responsibility for implementing the Business Line strategy and achieving business objectives
Commercial responsibility for the business area
Line management and technical leadership of the assigned managers
Responsibility for day-to-day operations
Managing collaboration with other business areas
Sustainable development of the portfolio and innovations
Responsibility for leveraging market potential and implementing the business unit strategy
Implementation of quality, occupational health and safety, compliance, and sustainability objectives
Qualifications
Successfully completed university degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable field
Extensive industry and market knowledge in the field of rolling stock / rail vehicles
Several years of relevant professional experience in commercial and strategic responsibility for comparable organizational departments/units
Extensive experience in strengths-based leadership of managers
Strong customer and service orientation, combined with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
Above-average commitment, enthusiasm for networking, and the ability to motivate employees and managers
Outgoing and confident manner
Willingness to travel, primarily within Germany and Europe
Business fluent in German and English Language written and spoken
