Join our winter operations team as a "Plow Truck Operator / Supervisor In Training" where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining safe and accessible driveways and parking lots during the harshest winter conditions.

As a key player in our winter weather response, you will operate plow trucks and assist in leading our team to ensure efficient snow and ice removal, keeping communities safe and moving forward. *This is a year round, working supervisory position. In the summer months, you will be responsible for a commercial lawn care route and other duties as assigned.*
Duties
- Safely operate plow trucks equipped with snow removal attachments to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas during winter storms
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on heavy equipment, including basic automotive repairs when necessary
- Assist in supervising and training new team members in proper equipment operation and safety protocols
- Coordinate with team members to prioritize routes and ensure timely snow removal operations
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks throughout shifts
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Valid G-Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating equipment such as plow trucks, loaders, skid steers or similar machinery
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues while in the field
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn supervisory skills and take on leadership responsibilities during training
- Basic knowledge of Google suite/Microsoft suite an asset
