Software Developer
JOB DUTIES:
The Oracle Software Developer will be part of a team responsible for supporting the Purchasing, Warehousing, Sales/Distribution and Production Planning Modules. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Developing and supporting Supply Chain system programs including writing, designing, and participating in design, build, and deployment processes.
- Driving superior quality in technical deliverables, reducing, or eliminating design or development defects and ensuring a comprehensive System Integration Testing.
- Performing Oracle Code optimization and performance tuning using SQL trace tool, runtime analysis, and code optimizer tools.
- Developing solutions including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflows programs.
- Analyzing existing programs or formulating logic for new systems, perform coding, and test/debug programs.
- Developing & Debugging Oracle objects including Tables, Views, Indexes, Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Database Triggers Data Dictionary objects.
- Work closely with SAP, .NET, IT & Functional personnel to implement and deploy changes to Oracle and other integrated or interfaced systems.
- Interacting with the Architects, Analysts and other IT delivery teams to design, build and deploy business requirements.
- Managing the construction of code based on a technical design, following development standards.
- Preparing and maintaining clear documentation that includes specifications, test conditions, plans, and data.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineeringor a related field and 3 years of experience involving the following:
- Oracle Database development work
- Database languages: Expert SQL and PL/SQL for queries and stored procedures.
- General coding: Strong skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Oracle tools: Experience with Oracle APEX, Forms, and Reports.
- Cloud & Architecture: Knowledge of microservices, APIs, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Azure DevOps Server (Project ticketing)
- Microsoft Office / 365 (Word, Excel, Projects)
