- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Work closely with business users, technology teams, developers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Use SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and investigation of business requirements/issues.
- Leverage AI tools to improve requirement analysis, documentation, data analysis, process optimization, and BA productivity.
- Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Support UAT, functional testing, defect analysis, and production issue investigation.
- Work with technical teams to understand APIs, data flows, integrations, and system dependencies.
- Perform data validation and ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear documentation of requirements, processes, changes, and decisions.
Requirements
- Strong experience as an IT / Technical Business Analyst.
- Proficiency in SQL – ability to write queries and perform data analysis/validation.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for analysis, documentation, productivity, or business problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of banking and financial services.
- Knowledge of Debit/Credit transactions and Payments.
- Good understanding of business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and UAT.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
Good to Have* Exposure to Intraday Liquidity (IDL) or liquidity management.
- Experience in banking payment systems.
- Knowledge of SWIFT / ISO 20022 / payment messages.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Postman, or similar BA/project tools.
