AI Engineer – Agentic AI & Engineering Transformation

About the role

**Role description**

We are looking for a highly driven AI Engineer who can identify, shape, and deliver AI\-powered transformation opportunities across the organization, with a particular focus on Software Engineering and SDLC optimization.

This role goes beyond model development and prompt engineering. The ideal candidate will proactively assess business and engineering processes, identify automation and agentic\-AI opportunities, build compelling business cases, and deliver measurable outcomes through AI solutions.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable speaking with engineering teams, delivery leaders, architects, and business stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

### **AI Opportunity Discovery**

* Analyze organizational processes and identify high\-value AI and automation opportunities. * Assess workflows across engineering, delivery, operations, support, and business functions. * Identify areas where Agentic AI, Generative AI, workflow automation, and intelligent assistants can deliver measurable benefits. * Translate business challenges into AI solution roadmaps.

### **Engineering \& SDLC Transformation**

* Identify opportunities to improve the software development lifecycle through AI. * Design solutions for: * + Requirements analysis + Documentation generation + Code generation + Code review automation + Test case generation + Test automation + Defect prediction + Release management + Knowledge management + Developer productivity improvement * Develop AI\-powered engineering accelerators and reusable frameworks.

### **Agentic AI Solutions**

* Design and implement AI agents and multi\-agent systems. * Build end\-to\-end solutions using: * + LLMs + Agent frameworks + RAG architectures + Knowledge bases + Workflow orchestration platforms * Evaluate and recommend the most suitable AI patterns and technologies for each use case.

### **Business Value Realization**

* Articulate the business value of AI investments. * Develop ROI assessments and benefit estimates. * Present recommendations to senior stakeholders. * Drive adoption and change management activities.

### **Technical Leadership**

* Provide guidance on AI architecture, governance, and responsible AI. * Establish best practices for AI implementation and operations. * Mentor engineering teams on modern AI techniques and tools.

**Required Skills and Experience**

### **Technical Skills**

* Strong hands\-on experience in implementing AI Initiatives across multiple models. * Experience building Generative AI applications using LLMs. * Expertise in: * + Agentic AI frameworks + RAG architectures + Vector databases + Prompt engineering + AI orchestration platforms * Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Google Gemini / Claude, Azure, GCP. * Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and SDLC tooling.

### **Consulting \& Solutioning Skills**

* Proven ability to identify business problems and translate them into AI solutions. * Experience conducting process assessments and opportunity discovery workshops. * Ability to communicate with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Strong business case development and value articulation skills. * Ability to challenge assumptions and influence decision\-making.

### **Behavioral Characteristics**

* Self\-starter and highly proactive. * Naturally curious and outcome\-oriented. * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Comfortable working independently and driving initiatives. * Ability to hold constructive technical and business discussions with senior stakeholders.

**Success Measures**

Within the first 12 months, the candidate should: * Identify and prioritize AI opportunities across engineering and business functions. * Deliver measurable productivity improvements through AI initiatives. * Implement agent\-based solutions that reduce manual effort and cycle times. * Establish reusable AI patterns and frameworks. * Demonstrate tangible business value and ROI from AI investments.
