**Role description** **Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (API Testing \- Java, Rest Assured, Selenium, Healthcare FHIR)**
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API testing using Rest Assured and Java, along with exposure to Selenium. The role focuses on validating healthcare applications and FHIR\-based API integrations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design and execute **API automation scripts using Rest Assured** * Perform **functional, integration, and regression testing of REST APIs** * Validate **API payloads, headers, authentication, and responses** * Execute **end\-to\-end integration testing across healthcare workflows** * Ensure **data accuracy, integrity, and compliance** in healthcare systems * Create and maintain **test cases, test data, and reports** * Identify and track defects using tools like JIRA * Collaborate with development and integration teams * Participate in Agile ceremonies
**Required Skills:**
* Strong experience in **Java \+ Rest Assured (mandatory)** * Hands\-on experience in **API testing (REST/JSON/XML)** * Basic to good experience in **Selenium (for automation framework support/integration)** * Knowledge of **HTTP methods, status codes, and API validations** * Experience in **automation frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber)** * Exposure to **CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, Maven)**
**Healthcare / Domain Skills :**
* Experience in **Healthcare domain** * Strong knowledge of **FHIR / HL7 standards** * Experience validating **FHIR APIs (JSON payloads, schema validation)** * Understanding of **integration and interoperability workflows**
