Overall Purpose of The Job
- The Business Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the overall business performance by interpreting data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights. The role supports decision-making by providing performance dashboards, KPIs, and reports that help departments align with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Write SQL queries and work with data warehouses.
- Conduct variance, root cause analysis when required.
- Gather and document detailed reporting requirements.
- Communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess business performance and provide analytical support.
- Create presentations for senior management to support strategic planning and forecasting.
- Monitor business targets and track progress against goals on a regular basis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
- Support performance / process improvement initiatives or projects across departments.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support implementation activities.

Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, performance analytics, or a related role.
- Advance in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, technical problem-solving and automation capabilities.
- Understanding of data modelling.
- SQL – For querying databases and extracting performance data.
- Data Visualization – Presenting insights clearly to various stakeholders.
- Experience in Project Management Tools (e.g., Asana, Microsoft DevOps, Jira).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience in process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Understanding of statistics and methodologies.
- Data wrangling and ETL experience.
