This gig is for college students preferably who are going into web design! I don't have a lot to give, but I want to make sure I can compensate somehow or give an addition to a portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Design and build a complete, fully functioning business website
- Develop the website using platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or similar website builders
- Create a clean, modern, visually appealing design consistent with our wedding photography brand
- Ensure the website is responsive and functions properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Organize website navigation, page layouts, images, text, galleries, and calls-to-action
- Create or customize website pages such as:
- Home
- About
- Photography
- Videography
- Wedding Packages/Services
- Portfolio/Galleries
- Contact
- Frequently Asked Questions
- Optimize images and website content for performance and user experience
- Implement contact forms and other necessary website functionality
- Apply basic SEO best practices, including page titles, descriptions, headings, image alt text, and keyword placement
- Test the website across different devices and browsers and resolve functionality or design issues
- Make revisions based on feedback from the Veiled Moments team
- Assist with ongoing website updates and improvements as needed
Required:
- Experience designing and building websites using platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, or similar
- Ability to independently build a website from start to finish
- Strong understanding of website layout, navigation, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- Experience creating responsive/mobile-friendly websites
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organization skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and incorporate feedback
- A portfolio or examples of websites you have designed/built
Preferred:
- Experience with Wix Studio
- Basic understanding of SEO
- Experience with photography, creative, wedding, hospitality, or other visual brands
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar tools
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Understanding of website accessibility and user experience (UX)

Benefits:
I have to be honest and say that there isn't a lot I can provide. I don't want to waste your time if you're looking for a paid gig, but if we work well together and the website comes out beautifully then I really do want to scrounge up something to compensate with the little I have.
Pay: $100.00 per year
