The Opportunity

Come join Earthsure, Veolia and Ventia’s exciting venture to re\-resource wasted soil sustainably.

Reporting to the plant engineer, you will support site operations including production, plant and facility maintenance at our state of the art contaminated soil treatment facility and other site\-based duties as required.

As the site operates around the clock, this role requires flexibility with shift work including day and night shifts to support production.

What you'll be responsible for

Assemble, inspect, and maintain mechanical components and systems according to technical specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.

Identify and resolve production issues, perform routine maintenance on machinery and make necessary adjustments to optimise performance.

Collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and efficiency, while maintaining accurate records of work performed.

Conduct daily inspections of mobile plant, ensure regular maintenance and clean equipment as directed.

Monitor thermal and soil washing plant operations through regular patrols, reporting observations to the Control Room Operator

Develop and adhere to safety documentation, including JSEAs, risk assessments, work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Support and promote all OHS\&W policies, identify and report hazards as well as properly use required PPE in compliance with company safety standards.

What you'll need to be successful

A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical or manufacturing fields would be advantageous.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to the production process.

Strong attention to detail and focus on precision and quality in assembly tasks.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
