Gather requirements through interviews, workshops, document reviews and process analysis

Work with business stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables

Partner with the Delivery Manager to keep stakeholders and senior management updated on progress and estimates, preparing documentation and presentations as needed

Support the project with analysis, testing and day-to-day organisation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Analyse data and turn your findings into clear technical specifications for data engineers

Keep requirements, process flows and solution designs well documented and traceable

Champion data governance, building data definitions, lineage and quality into every deliverable

Create high-quality documentation, including business requirements, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings and user guides
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, ideally with a background in Data Analytics or Data Platforms, to lead initiatives that enhance the firm’s data ingestion, data products, data quality processes, and integration with key platforms such as Google Cloud and Hadoop. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with data engineers and business users to translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions.
About you:
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with both business and technical audiences at all levels of seniority
- Experience as a Business Analyst on change initiatives involving multiple internal and external parties
- Experience leading brainstorming sessions, process mapping, workshops and Agile story mapping
- Experience in software delivery projects, ideally in Data or Data Analysis area
- Understanding of data and the data lifecycle
- Experience working in an Agile tech delivery team
- Experience of working with Databases, SQL, GCP BQ
