As a Waiter or Waitress at VIA Antwerp, you contribute to our food and beverage operations, including MEA, our restaurant. You help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience by providing friendly, attentive and professional service to our guests.
Depending on operational needs, you may be involved in restaurant service at MEA and other food and beverage activities within VIA Antwerp. Whether serving guests during breakfast or supporting evening service, you represent our commitment to quality hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
Your responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.

Take food and beverage orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen or bar.

Serve food and drinks efficiently.

Prepare and clear tables before, during and after service.

Keep the restaurant and service areas clean and organised.

Respond to guest questions and requests.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service.

Follow food safety, hygiene and service standards.

You are eligible to work as a student employee in Belgium.

Previous experience in waiting or food and beverage service is required.

You have strong communication and customer service skills.

You communicate well in Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.

You are friendly, presentable, reliable and attentive to detail.

You work well in a team and can handle busy service periods.

You are flexible and available for morning or evening shifts and weekends when required.
