About the role

This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2028

Please note that this is a VPS5.1 $116,413.00 - VPS5.1.5 $128,631.00 + Superannuation position

The Business Analyst supports the Data & Digital division by identifying business needs, analysing requirements, and developing practical solutions that improve services and support digital transformation. The role works closely with stakeholders to evaluate change, prepare business cases, and ensure projects are delivered successfully.

You will gather and document business requirements, processes and technical dependencies, create clear project documentation, and support solution design using tools such as Jira and Confluence. The role also builds strong stakeholder relationships, influences outcomes, and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver better business and customer outcomes.

Qualifications and experience

You’ll bring:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst with the skills to gather requirements, analyse business needs, and support successful project delivery (mandatory).
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and experience working across traditional project management and agile delivery environments (mandatory).
  • Business Analysis (e.g. BABOK) or Agile certification (desirable).
