About the role:
The Principal Developer is part of the Communities and Families Portfolio, which is responsible for leading the development and implementation of various solutions and initiatives within the program.
The Principal Developer is responsible for assessing technology platforms and designs application and reporting architecture based on business, functional and non-functional requirements, this includes defining the interaction between application packages, databases and middleware systems in terms of functional and non-functional coverage.

About you:
- A relevant IT related degree or qualification will be highly advantageous to this role.
- Certification in ITIL methodology highly desirable.
- Certification in PRINCE 2 or other project management methodology is highly desirable.
- Agile project experience will be advantageous.
- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within a medium to large government or commercial organisations.
