Project Manager – Real Estate & Construction

About the Role
Virkar Developers is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee project planning, execution and site operations. The role will involve coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered as per approved timelines, quality standards, safety requirements and statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities from execution through completion.
- Monitor day-to-day construction activities and overall site progress.
- Coordinate with PMC/consultants, contractors, vendors and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones and identify delays or execution issues.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure timely rectification of deviations.
- Monitor site safety, security, housekeeping and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate civil, structural, MEP, finishing and other project activities.
- Review material requirements, site resources and contractor performance.
- Monitor project-related documentation, approvals, drawings and reports.
- Identify project risks and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Prepare regular project progress reports and provide updates to management.
- Monitor snagging, rectification and project handover activities.
- Ensure statutory and project-specific compliance requirements are followed.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 8–12 years of experience in real estate or construction projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of construction and site execution.
- Good understanding of real estate and construction practices in Pune.
- Experience in managing contractors, consultants, vendors and site teams.
- Good knowledge of quality control, safety and construction standards.
- Strong project planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders effectively.
- Good communication, reporting and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project/Primavera will be an advantage.
