About our Role:
Due to ongoing growth and an expanding project portfolio, we have created a new and exciting position for a Design/Project Manager to join our Newcastle office. We are looking for someone with experience managing internal design deliverables across multiple disciplines and offices to ensure high-quality delivery and exceptional commercial outcomes.
About you:
- Qualification in Engineering and/or Project Management
- 7+ years' experience within an engineering environment
- Experience across Defence, Energy, Ports & Marine and/or Resources projects will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering design from concept through to detailed design and final deliverables
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project financial performance
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and build strong client relationships
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Business development experience advantageous but not essential.
- Registration with Engineers Australia in the Project Management practise area, Australian Institute of Project Managers or equivalent will be highly regarded
