Role summary:
As a Senior Analyst supporting Ambient Supply Chain, you will help transform operational data into scalable analytics and technology solutions. This role combines business intelligence, software development, AI, and strategy to improve visibility, productivity, and decision-making across the distribution network. You will develop and maintain reporting solutions, build dashboards and lightweight applications, analyze operational performance, and partner with field and functional teams to identify opportunities. Your work will help modernize how supply chain teams access information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.

The team develops scalable analytics, AI, and technology solutions that improve how Ambient Supply Chain operates. The team partners closely with field operations, engineering, and technology teams to turn operational challenges into actionable insights and digital solutions. Our work spans business intelligence, software development, automation, AI, data strategy, and analytics governance. We balance rapid experimentation with scalable, sustainable development—building new capabilities while maintaining critical reporting and applications already used across the network.
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytical tools that support Ambient Supply Chain operations.
- Build software applications and automation solutions that simplify workflows and improve operational execution.
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and other analytical tools to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Explore and apply AI capabilities to operational use cases, including workflow automation and decision support.
- Partner with field operations and engineering teams to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
- Support existing analytics products by troubleshooting issues, improving performance, and maintaining data quality.
- Help establish standards and governance for analytics, applications, and reporting across Ambient Supply Chain.
What you'll bring:
- Experience or education in analytics, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Familiarity with Python, web development, automation, or other software development technologies.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies and their application to real-world operational problems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into analytical or technical solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with both technical teams and supply chain operators.
