The Wasserstrom Company is the leading Food Service Distributor in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We currently have an open opportunity as an **Installation Manager.** This position is responsible for providing **quality installation service for customers that promotes satisfaction by exceeding their expectation while maintaining profitability** for the Company. Creates new ways of doing business, managing labor, controlling expenses and managing our customer’s needs. Responsible for our parcel truck fleet, and a warehouse. May perform other tasks as needed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
**Process Management**
* Manages installation of equipment to the Wasserstrom Companies and customers specifications. * Act as Company representative when interacting with our customers, always reflecting a positive attitude and driven to achieve customer satisfaction. * Manage modifications in the field to the standards of our customers as well as the Company. * Is pro\-active in correcting repairs needed in the field and helping to create new ways of doing jobs to alleviate continued discrepancies. * Develop and maintain a level of trust and respect with co\-workers, management, sales associates and our customers that fosters a positive environment. * Performs data analysis on financials to identify continuous improvement opportunities and new revenue streams
**Hands\-On People Management**
* Supervise associates within the Installation Department * Supervise our parcel truck fleet within Columbus metro area * Supervise associates in our equipment warehouse * Plans, assigns and directs work of the team, assigning tasks as necessary and explains proper procedures * Manage budget, labor and warehouse costs * Provide training and performance feedback * Conduct associate check\-ins; responsible for achievement of goals and objectives * Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures * Conduct other supervisory tasks as needed
**Education and Experience**
* 2 year / Associate Degree * 5 years relevant installation experience * 2 years of supervisory experience
**Other Skills and Abilities:**
* Proficient computer skills; ability to use MS Office Suite, including Outlook * Technical ability to learn and use a variety of software programs * Ability to analyze data and formulate recommendations based on the analysis * Communicates well with others; speaks and writes clearly; asks for and offers help when needed * Proactively seeks out continuous improvement opportunities * Interpersonal; resolves questions and concerns in a professional manner; maintains confidentiality * Detail oriented; meets quality standards and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness * Organized; completes work in a timely manner; able to prioritize and meet deadlines * Problem\-solver; gathers and analyzes information skillfully and generates suggestions for improving work * Capable of working independently and as a member of a team; contributes to building a positive team spirit * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. * To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
