Salary Range: $143,000 \- $154,000 per year
**The Manager, Product Management** at Wayfair directs the strategic development and lifecycle management of specific hardware or software products, from initial conception through end\-of\-life. This role involves leading a comprehensive product strategy and serving as the central point of contact across design, manufacturing, quality, testing, marketing, and distribution teams. You'll be responsible for formulating and executing long\-term plans to achieve cost and profit control, promoting the adoption of new technologies and industry trends, and managing a team to ensure efficient product development and delivery. This position is critical in driving the success and innovation of Wayfair's technology product offerings.
**About the Supply Chain Solutions team**
We optimize Wayfair's supply chain through innovative solutions, enabling strategic business outcomes and a seamless supplier and customer experience. We are the driving force in transforming Wayfair's supply chain into an industry\-leading model of efficiency, agility, and customer\-centricity. This team focuses on large, strategic initiatives that cross many tech and ops verticals (Storefront, Supply Chain and Retail Tech, Global Supplier Technology) to define the end\-to\-end solutions.
Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team in order to scale the world\-class Manhattan WMS solution across our Fulfillment network. The ideal candidate brings product and project management experience, structured and logical planning, excellent communication skills, fluency in quantitative metrics and analysis, and a strong track record of cross functional team leadership to the role, with a focus on successfully launching supply chain software. Due to the nature of this role you will often be on site testing \& rolling out new solutions that integrate with our new Warehouse Management System. This will require you to travel to various Fulfillment Center locations across the U.S. and potentially the UK and Canada. This will equate to traveling 25% of the time. Within this role you will be expected to travel to Boston at a minimum of quarterly for Supply Chain Solution all\-hands events and to work with engineering.
**What You'll Do**
This individual will be part of a team focused on designing and building, and implementing our next generation fulfillment software solution.
* Work cross\-functionally with a variety of teams including Ops, Tech, Industrial Engineering, and Network Management team. * Manage processes and engagement with key cross\-functional partners to define requirements for building new capabilities * Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks and roadblocks within a program * Drive delivery of tech onsite in our FC’s working alongside partner teams * Partner with vendors to identify the best solutions for build vs buy from a software perspective. * Create a clear strategy for the software capabilities we want to maintain in\-house vs. what we should outsource to vendors. * Define a long\-term roadmap for the space working alongside our tech partners and stakeholders. * Communicate regularly with cross functional partners to understand business trends and new ways to build new capabilities
**What You'll Need**
* Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, or related field, and/or equivalent supply chain operations experience * 5\+ years of professional experience in supply chain, program management, and/or product management * Strong project management, organizational, and structured thinking skills * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with a high level of attention to detail * Ability to drive results at both a detailed and strategic level * Proven track record of working effectively in cross\-functional environments * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated senior\-level presence * Product management experience or capabilities preferred * Experience working in a physical operations environment preferred * SQL experience a plus * Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast\-paced, evolving environment * Self\-starter with the ability to hit the ground running
