You'll build rich-media ads for one of Germany's busiest interactive ad studios - game ads, swipeable galleries, quizzes, fireplace skins, dealer ads with live store locators. Plain HTML, SCSS and modern JavaScript, animated with GSAP, built from the designer's layouts down to the pixel. Around 50 campaigns land in the queue every month for big consumer, travel and automotive brands, so you'll ship something real in your first weeks and see it live on major news sites soon after.
What you'll actually do.
You'll join the ad production team of a German interactive marketing agency we've worked with for years. Every ad starts as a Jira ticket from the campaign team: client, format, sizes, deadline, the designer's layouts and a folder of exported assets. You take it from there: build the ad, wire up clickouts and tracking, push it through QA and tag testing, and hand it over for delivery on ad platforms. Tickets are short-lived (days, not months), so you'll see a lot of different formats quickly.
The workflow is AI-first on purpose. Every format (game ad, gallery, quiz, fireplace, dealer banner) has its own boilerplate branch, the repos ship with Claude Code guides and skills, and visual checks run through Playwright. You'll learn to use those tools well, and to tell when the output is wrong. Pixel-perfect is not a slogan here: positions are measured from the designer's layouts, never eyeballed.
-
Build interactive ads in HTML, SCSS and ES6 JavaScript on top of the in-house ad framework and its webpack-based build tool.
-
Turn the designer's layouts into pixel-perfect, responsive creatives that hold up across sizes, from a 320x50 mobile banner to a full desktop fireplace skin.
-
Animate with GSAP: intros, scene transitions, idle loops that stop when the user engages, without burning the CPU of a cheap Android phone.
-
Work with mini-games and scenes (Phaser for the game ads), galleries, quizzes, drag-and-drop and scratch mechanics.
-
Wire up clickouts, tracking events and dealer data (store locators, geocoded dealer lists) so the campaign team can actually measure what you built.
-
Use Claude Code and Playwright as daily tools: start from the matching format template, verify visually on every change, keep a short decision log per ad.
-
Make decisions and shape the stack. If a template, a build step or a skill slows you down, you propose a fix, ship it and the whole team works faster from then on.
What we're looking for.
If you're 70% of the must-haves, please apply anyway. We'd rather read 50 maybes than miss the right person.
Must have
-
Solid HTML and CSS. You can rebuild a design from a mockup without a UI framework holding your hand, and you notice when something is 2px off.
-
Modern JavaScript (ES6+): modules, classes, events, async. No framework required, the ads run on plain JS.
-
An eye for animation and motion. You've used GSAP, CSS animations or the Web Animations API, or you're itching to.
-
Comfortable with git: branches, pull requests, resolving a merge conflict without panic.
-
Something you built that we can look at: a repo, a live page, a CodePen collection. Small is fine, finished is better.
-
The urge to make work faster and easier. You notice what's annoying, repetitive or slow, and you fix the tooling instead of living with it.
-
Working English (B2+). Our team and our code speak English.
Nice to have
-
German at any level. Many briefs from the campaign team arrive in German.
-
Canvas, WebGL, Phaser or any browser game experiments.
-
SCSS and webpack, or another bundler you've configured yourself.
-
Measuring exact sizes and spacing from a design layout, not just eyeballing.
-
Hands-on time with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and a healthy skepticism about their output.
-
Any exposure to ad tech: banners, MRAID, VAST, click tags, tracking pixels.
What we don't care about
-
Your degree, or whether you have one. Bootcamp, university or self-taught are all fine.
-
Leetcode ratings or algorithm puzzles under a stopwatch.
-
Whether you've built ads before. Most good ad developers started as frontend people who liked making things move.
How we hire, briefly.
Three steps, around two weeks end-to-end.
-
Short take-home task - build a small animated ad from a design file and a few assets. A few hours of work, 4 days to deliver from the moment you receive it.
-
Intro + walkthrough call - 45 min with us. Half on you, half walking through your ad. We ask why, not what.
-
Offer call - written offer on the table, time to ask anything you still want to ask before you sign.
What we offer
-
Remote work, full-time
-
Mandate contract: PLN 5,000–7,000 gross per month
-
B2B contract: PLN 5,000–7,000 net per month
-
UoP contract: gross UoP equivalent on request
-
Location: Poznań (must have)
