Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing websites with a focus on usability, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular.
- Create engaging graphics, logos, motion graphics, and visual UI/UX designs utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other graphic design software.
- Develop prototypes and wireframes using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD to visualize concepts and streamline user experience improvements.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines and improve organic traffic.
- Maintain and update existing websites through content management systems like WordPress or Drupal while ensuring web accessibility standards are met.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions; analyze web analytics data via Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to measure performance.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and back-end programmers using Git, PHP, Python, SQL, or Node.js to bring designs to life seamlessly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital design, web development, UI/UX design, and graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like React or Angular), PHP, SQL/MySQL databases, and version control tools such as Git.
- Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Balsamiq or similar prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive web design principles, and usability best practices for diverse audiences.
- Ability to create prototypes for interaction design and motion graphics that enhance user engagement.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal; experience with website maintenance and website management is preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret web analytics data for continuous improvement; understanding of SEO strategies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $24.52 - $29.53 per hour
