About the Role:
MARKU – Life Design Academy is looking for an enthusiastic Web Developer Intern to join our technical team. In this role, you will work on hands-on development projects, maintaining and customizing our web presence while building modern digital experiences across web and app platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including theme configuration, plugin management, and layout adjustments.
- Implement custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) to build bespoke features, fix bugs, and refine UI/UX.
- Assist in developing responsive web pages and exploring cross-platform mobile/web application solutions.
- Optimize website performance, load times, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to implement new feature requests and landing pages.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Hands-on proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Familiarity with responsive design, modern UI frameworks, and mobile-friendly layouts.
- Basic understanding of mobile app development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) or full-stack web concepts is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen interest in learning and writing clean, maintainable code.
