The role
You’ll design, build and maintain websites and online stores for our clients, mainly on WordPress and Shopify. You’ll turn designs and briefs into fast, clean, mobile-friendly sites, and keep them running well after launch.
What you’ll do
- Build and customise WordPress sites using Elementor and custom PHP where needed
- Set up and manage online stores on WooCommerce and Shopify (products, payments, shipping, checkout)
- Customise themes and plugins, and fix bugs or compatibility problems
- Work from designs made by our designers and match them accurately
- Improve page speed, mobile responsiveness and basic on-page SEO, working with our SEO team
- Handle hosting, domains, backups, security and updates for client sites
- Fix issues and make content updates after launch
What we’re looking for
- 1 to 3 years of experience (strong freshers with live projects are welcome)
- Solid WordPress, PHP, HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Elementor
- Experience building and customising WooCommerce stores
- Working knowledge of Shopify (themes, Liquid basics, apps)
- Basic understanding of SEO, site speed and website security
- Ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines
- Good communication in Tamil and English
Nice to have
- Experience with payment gateways like Razorpay, plus Indian shipping tools
- Basic Figma knowledge to read design files
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console and tracking setup
- Experience using AI tools to speed up development
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
