Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and result-oriented Web Development Manager with approximately 3 years of relevant experience in the digital marketing and web solutions industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership qualities, project management skills, and the ability to manage a web development team while delivering high-quality websites and web applications.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing website development projects, coordinating with designers and digital marketing teams, managing developers, ensuring timely project delivery, and maintaining website quality, performance, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the web development team to ensure productivity and quality deliverables.
• Plan, assign, monitor, and manage web development projects from initial requirement gathering to final deployment.
• Oversee the development of business websites, e-commerce websites, landing pages, and custom web solutions.
• Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, SEO-friendly, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Work closely with the digital marketing, SEO, graphic design, and content teams to meet client requirements.
• Review website designs, coding standards, functionality, and overall project quality.
• Manage project timelines, deadlines, priorities, and team workloads effectively.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution of website bugs and errors.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical guidance, and communicate progress.
• Ensure proper implementation of website analytics, tracking codes, forms, and third-party integrations where required.
• Manage website hosting, domain configuration, SSL certificates, backups, and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with the latest web development technologies, frameworks, tools, and industry trends.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and maintain high standards of client satisfaction.

Required Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Practical experience with WordPress, themes, plugins, and website customization.
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and basic backend development.
• Familiarity with frameworks or libraries such as React, Bootstrap, or other modern web technologies is preferred.
• Experience in e-commerce website development using platforms such as WooCommerce or Shopify.
• Understanding of website speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of SEO-friendly website structure, on-page technical requirements, URL structure, redirects, and schema basics.
• Experience with hosting platforms, cPanel, domain management, DNS, SSL, and website deployment.
• Familiarity with Git, version control, debugging, website security, and backup management.
• Understanding of APIs, third-party integrations, contact forms, payment gateways, and CRM integrations.
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking is an advantage.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in web development, preferably within a digital marketing or web solutions agency.
• Prior experience in managing or leading a development team is strongly preferred.
• Must have hands-on technical knowledge along with managerial capabilities.
• Must be comfortable coordinating with designers, SEO specialists, digital marketers, and clients.
• Must be capable of handling multiple website projects and ensuring timely delivery.
