Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled SDET to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions for web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Test Automation, API Testing, and Playwright/Selenium/Cypress, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms, databases, and QA framework design.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and/or Cypress.
- Perform comprehensive API testing for RESTful and service-based applications.
- Develop automated test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Perform SQL validation to verify data integrity and backend functionality.
- Design reusable QA automation components, utilities, and test frameworks.
- Execute cross-browser and end-to-end testing for web applications.
- Support testing of applications deployed on Azure and Kubernetes environments.
- Generate test reports and communicate test results, defects, risks, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, product owners, and other QA professionals in an Agile environment.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, framework performance, and overall testing processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation, or Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation and API testing.
- Practical experience with one or more of Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Good understanding of automation framework design and reusable test architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs and tools/frameworks for API validation.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Programming/scripting experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with test reporting, logging, and defect management tools.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is an added advantage.
