We work in partnership with our patient and community research partners to enable achievement of shared priorities and clinically meaningful outcomes. We train the research leaders of the future through high quality trainee experiences and celebrate their successes.

Our research is focused in four research themes that address priority areas for research.

**Responsibilities**

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the work of the Canadian MSK Rehab Research Network and its virtual network team. With intimate knowledge of the Network, the coordinator will play an integral role in assisting the Principal Investigators and broad membership through: coordination of meetings (e.g. logistics, agendas and minutes); support of the network's activities and research dissemination (e.g. conducting and analyzing surveys on research priorities, coordinating national meetings with network partners, writing reports and resource manuals, supporting different research teams, maintaining and updating web content, organizing and updating a social media strategy); working with Research Finance to coordinate transfer of funds to partners/members and reconcile network financial statements; maintenance of linkages with stakeholders; development of current and new partnership connections; and liaison with the researchers, knowledge users and partners on a regular basis to maintain network connections. Any additional duties assigned by the Principal investigator that are required to assist with timely completion of network related work. Work will include:

* Undertake detail oriented\-work (such as tracking and data entry) with high degree of conscientiousness * Organize meetings, on a regular and ongoing basis, that are beneficial to network members * Manage tasks carefully and accurately with attention to detail; project metrics are developed, monitored and achieved * Enhance profile for the Network * High\-quality written materials are prepared (including reports, proposals, news releases) such as documents that clearly define the key research priorities and strategic plan for the network * Network activities that are smoothly implemented, on\-time, and on\-budget (e.g. initial Network setup, development of national platforms, maximize research activities by investing in pilot studies and trainee awards, annual national meetings, knowledge translation) and that have identified teams and initiatives that have potential to both attract larger funding and make important impacts on MSK rehab * Draft applications for ongoing network funding that are thorough, well\-written, and can compete in a highly competitive environment (i.e. leverage the successful teams to large scale success and to foster sustainability of the network) * Strong, productive collaborative relationships with network colleagues, partners and stakeholders are developed * Project budgets are established, monitored, and maintained

**Qualifications**

Education:

* Undergraduate Degree; Project Management Professional certification preferred

Experience:

* 2 years' work experience in a related field

Skills, Abilities \& Expertise :

* Familiarity with project life cycles * Familiarity with techniques for planning, managing and coordinating multiple projects, with competing priorities that involve a variety of stakeholders * Project management skills to ensure team roles are clear, milestones are communicated and deadlines are met * Familiarity with best practices for change management * Communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with all levels of the organization * Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite * A well\-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills * Results\-oriented with the ability to motivate and coach employees to meet high performance standards * Ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and other members of the University community * Strong client focus with a desire to achieve results
