Senior Full Stack Developer
Opportunity:
WeVend is currently seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to build and maintain both front-end and back-end applications within our Enterprise Applications Architecture, inclusive of Payment Processing technology, Customer Portals, and Internal Support systems.
This position is based at our Head Office location in North York, ON. WeVend is a Fintech, IoT, and Payment Device Solutions Provider, enabling seamless device control and payments technologies for targeted retail verticals.
Duties
- Plan, develop, optimize, and maintain web applications using a variety of programming languages
- Collaborate with Solutions Architect, Third Party providers, and product managers to create new functions and features that are optimize for user experience, speed, and accuracy
- Conduct thorough initial developer testing and debugging of applications
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the best practices are implemented in codebase to deliver secure applications
- Integrate applications and data from various platforms and Third-Party services, using their specifications and or industry standards, into WeVend Enterprise Application Platform
- Investigate/Troubleshoot application bugs to determine root cause ad implement resolutions quickly
- Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and reliability

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer delivering solutions in the FinTech Sector
- Proven experience delivering payment applications, integration, and certification is a distinct advantage
- Proven experience delivering Customer Billing Platforms and other internal support systems
- Proven development skills on Tech Stack - React, JavaScript, Node.js, NextJ.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cloud Platforms, AI Tools
- Strong communication and writing skills and ability create documentation/release notes
- Your ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
