We are looking for a dependable, energetic Operations Manager who can lead our staff, manage daily operations, solve problems, and help us deliver an excellent experience to every family.

This is a hands\-on leadership position. Leadership at Willits Kids Corner does not mean sitting in an office. You will help guests, cover the front desk, clean play areas, set up birthday parties, coach employees, handle customer concerns, and step in wherever needed.

Your team should see you as a working leader who sets the standard every day.

**Primary Responsibilities**

Staff Leadership and Accountability

* Lead by example with a positive, professional attitude. * Supervise, train, coach, and support all team members. * Hold employees accountable to company policies and performance expectations. * Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and onboarding. * Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development. * Create weekly schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels. * Schedule adequate coverage for weekends, parties, special events, and peak periods while controlling labor costs. * Track attendance, punctuality, and employee performance. * Conduct employee evaluations. * Address performance issues promptly, fairly, and professionally. * Hold regular staff meetings. * Build a respectful, dependable, and accountable team.

**Daily Facility Operations**

* Open and close the facility correctly. * Ensure daily checklists and operating procedures are completed. * Keep operations running efficiently throughout the day. * Solve routine problems independently before escalating them to ownership. * Maintain organization throughout the facility. * Keep play areas, party areas, customer areas, storage spaces, and employee areas clean, safe, and welcoming. * Identify inefficient processes and recommend practical improvements. * Provide ownership with regular updates about staffing, inventory, maintenance, customer concerns, party operations, and business performance.

**Customer Experience**

* Greet guests and help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. * Ensure every family receives attentive and professional service. * Handle customer complaints calmly and respectfully. * Resolve problems using confidence, sound judgment, and good communication. * Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls professionally, including answering questions, responding to inquiries, booking parties, confirming reservations, following up with prospective customers, and communicating important event details. * Train employees to handle phone calls, party inquiries, booking questions, and customer concerns professionally. * Ensure party inquiries and other customer leads receive prompt follow\-up. * Monitor customer feedback and online reviews. * Communicate important or recurring customer concerns to ownership.

**Birthday Parties and Events**

**Inventory and Purchasing**

* Monitor snacks, beverages, cleaning products, office supplies, and party supplies. * Complete weekly inventory counts. * Recommend purchases before essential items run low. * Keep inventory and storage areas clean and organized. * Monitor product usage and reduce unnecessary waste. * Verify that deliveries and purchased supplies are received and stored correctly.

**Safety and Facility Standards**

* Conduct routine facility inspections. * Report maintenance problems immediately. * Make sure playground equipment remains clean, secure, and safe. * Enforce playground rules fairly and consistently. * Maintain emergency procedures and follow company safety requirements. * Complete incident reports accurately and promptly. * Respond calmly and appropriately to injuries, accidents, or other unexpected situations. * Maintain required CPR and First Aid certification. **Qualifications**

* Previous supervisory or management experience in a customer\-facing business is strongly preferred. * Experience training employees and addressing performance issues. * Strong customer service and problem\-solving skills. * Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling tools, email, and basic business software. * Experience handling cash, reconciling registers, and maintaining accurate records. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Able to organize multiple priorities in a busy environment. * Able to make sound decisions without constant supervision. * Dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to take ownership. * Able to remain calm and professional under pressure. * Spanish\-speaking or bilingual ability is desired. * Experience in family entertainment, hospitality, retail, recreation, events, or another customer\-focused business is helpful. * Successful completion of applicable pre\-employment screening may be required because this position works in a child\-focused environment.

**Physical and Work Requirements**

This is an active, hands\-on position. You must be able to:
