Wilson Alarms is an established NSI Gold fire and security specialist expanding across the Midlands. We are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to fit intruder alarms, fire systems, CCTV, and access control across residential, commercial, and education sectors.
The Role
- Install and commission Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Scantronic, Pyronix), Access Control (Paxton Net2), and IP/Analogue CCTV (Hikvision) with basic networking.
- Configure DualCom monitoring and signalling units to NSI codes of practice.
- Cover 1–3 jobs per day across the Midlands, blending installations with reactive calls and small works.
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, on-site from 8:30 AM.
- On-call rota: 1 in 3 weeks (highly competitive standby and call-out rates).
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of security system installation and commissioning experience.
- Solid working knowledge of NSI standards.
- Strong communication, customer-facing skills, and self-motivation.
- Valid manual UK driving licence.
- Able to pass standard security screening (BS 7858).
