Wren Labs is a fast\-moving deep\-tech company working at the intersection of biology, hardware, automation, and data.
We are building advanced tools for real\-world biological testing and deployment, with applications across diagnostics, environmental monitoring, industrial biology, and defense. Our work is technical, ambitious, and highly execution\-driven.
We are a small team, which means the work moves quickly and every person has a meaningful impact. We value ownership, clear communication, discretion, and the ability to bring structure to complex, fast\-changing environments.
About the Role
We are hiring an Executive Assistant to support the Founder \& CEO.
This is a high\-trust role for someone who is exceptionally organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership. You will help manage the CEO’s calendar, inbox, logistics, meeting preparation, follow\-ups, and day\-to\-day coordination across both business and occasional personal matters.
The goal of this role is simple: help the CEO stay focused on the highest\-value work by removing friction, protecting time, and making sure important details do not fall through the cracks.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys being close to the center of a growing company, likes solving practical problems, and takes pride in making a busy person’s life run more smoothly.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Managing and prioritizing the CEO’s calendar, including meetings, focus time, scheduling conflicts, and preparation. * Monitoring and organizing the CEO’s inbox, including triaging messages, drafting responses, and flagging important items. * Coordinating travel, meetings, appointments, and logistics. * Preparing agendas, briefing notes, meeting materials, and follow\-up items. * Tracking commitments, deadlines, and loose ends to make sure things get completed. * Acting as a point of contact for internal team members, partners, vendors, and external stakeholders. * Helping organize documents, communications, and administrative workflows. * Supporting occasional personal or household coordination where needed. * Taking vague or incomplete requests and turning them into completed outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organized and detail\-oriented. * Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. * Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive business and personal information. * Clear and professional in written and verbal communication. * Calm under pressure and adaptable when plans change. * Comfortable working around technical teams, including engineers, scientists, and operators. * Able to anticipate needs rather than only respond to instructions. * Strong at follow\-through and closing loops.
Nice to Have
The following are helpful but not required:
* Prior experience supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive. * Experience in a startup, technical company, lab, manufacturing, or fast\-moving operating environment. * Comfort using modern productivity tools, AI tools, calendars, email systems, and project management software. * Experience coordinating travel, vendors, meetings, events, or personal logistics.
Pay: From $70,000\.00 per year
Work Location: In person
