Pune 40h Role - ML-Engineer
About You:
- You implement and productionize ML-based services on our AI and Big Data platform using Python, SQL, IaC and Linux
- You consult and enable cross-functional teams to build efficient, scalable Big Data and Data Science projects, and take over production responsibility to ensure continuous business value
- You write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards, and perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
- You collaborate with adjacent teams on topics such as governance, infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), data provisioning, scheduling, CI/CD, and data engineering
- You continuously improve standard processes and best practices for services and projects on our platform and help reduce operational costs
- You stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply them to enhance our software and service offerings
Must Have:
Machine Learning & Platform
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a ML Engineering role
- Experience building, improving and maintaining IT-Systems
Software Engineering
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional high-level programming language (e.g., Java or C++)
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases (HANA, MS SQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile software development methodologies
Cloud & Infrastructure
- 2+ years of concrete working experience with Clouds such as AWS. With wide knowledge accross multiple services
- Advanced knowledge of Linux and operating systems and the underlying fundamentals behind IT-Systems
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and presentation skills in English
Nice to Have:
- Certifications in Databricks or AWS
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Good knowledge in AWS Lambda, SageMaker, API-Gateway, CDK, Terraform
