QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Safety, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or a related operational environment; 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use KPIs and operating data to identify issues, prioritize work, and drive corrective action.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities and customer commitments.
  • Strong personal accountability, integrity, flexibility, and commitment to safe, compliant, respectful operations.
  • Working knowledge of receiving, put-away, dock scheduling, WMS transactions, vendor compliance, and inventory handoff controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES – HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION

  • Own inbound flow from appointment/dock scheduling through receipt verification and put-away readiness.
  • Lead receiving and put-away processes to support timely availability of product for downstream operations.
  • Manage dock scheduling and inbound capacity to reduce congestion, detention, and avoidable dwell time.
  • Establish and enforce vendor compliance standards for labeling, Advanced shipping notice/packing list accuracy, delivery appointments, palletization, and documentation as applicable.
  • Partner with Inventory Control, Outbound, Transportation, and Process Leads to resolve receiving discrepancies and flow constraints.
  • Monitor inbound productivity, labor utilization, quality, damage, and receiving accuracy.
  • Develop standard work and escalation routines for inbound associates and Team Leads.

· Pro-active and timely communication of concerns, issues and ideas for improvement to Management.

· Protects company assets ensuring all equipment is used and maintained properly.

· Maintains awareness of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

· Adheres to all security and safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all Associates.

· Assist in any task requested by either the direct Manager or any person in Management.

· Maintain a highly efficient work environment.

· Work as a team within all functional work areas.

INDICATORS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Inbound units processed per labor hour meet or exceed standard.
  • Dock-to-stock time and receiving accuracy to lower costs and speed up product availability.
  • Dock utilization and appointment adherence remain within plan.
  • Vendor compliance improves and recurring vendor-related issues decline.
  • Put-away backlog and aging remain within established thresholds.
  • Inbound damages and inventory discrepancies are minimized.
  • Safety and quality expectations are consistently achieved.

IMPROVING THE SYSTEM

  • All Fait Associates are responsible for documenting and fixing problems within the system. In addition, this role is responsible for improvement project participation, planning, communicating and implementing solutions within the scope of the position.

PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT

Fait will provide resources and support, relevant to the position, for education and training as needed. It is the Associate’s responsibility to seek approval, schedule and participate in education and/or training that will prepare him/her for present and future needs. A post-training recap may be required.
