Accounts Payable Executive
About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to manage supplier payments, reconciliations and statutory compliance, and to support month-end closing. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Verify and process supplier invoices, staff claims and payment requests accurately and on time.
- Prepare payment schedules and arrange payments to suppliers and service providers.
- Monitor payment due dates to ensure timely payment.
- Follow up with vendors and internal departments on outstanding matters.
- Perform statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing and AP-related reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, including SST filings, LHDN tax matters and e-Invoice submission.
- Support timely closure of audit queries.
- Assist with AP process improvements and system implementation projects.
- Take part in periodic physical stocktakes, verify count accuracy, and investigate and reconcile variances.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Perform other assignments as directed by superiors and comply with company rules and regulations.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate in accounting software, with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Meticulous and organised, with strong communication skills.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
