Sheren Plumbing & Heating is hiring an HVAC & Plumbing Apprentice to support commercial mechanical construction projects throughout Petoskey and Northern Michigan.

Your New Role
-
Assist HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical installers on commercial projects

Help install piping, mechanical equipment, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems
-
Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment

Move, stage, and organize materials, equipment, and jobsite supplies
-
Perform general apprentice and construction duties

Follow jobsite safety procedures and instructions

Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions

Travel to jobs throughout Petoskey and the surrounding Northern Michigan service area

At least 1 year of HVAC and/or plumbing experience

Previous hands-on experience assisting with HVAC or plumbing installation, service, or construction work

Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools

Ability to perform the physical duties required for HVAC and plumbing work

Ability to follow instructions and established jobsite safety procedures

Dependable attendance and consistent work habits

Willingness to continue learning HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical installation

Ability to work throughout Traverse City and the surrounding Northern Michigan service area
