About the Role
You'll play a vital role in ensuring every person who walks into our centre leaves with a smile, feeling supported, motivated, and valued. This is more than just a front desk role — it's your chance to be a genuine part of something that makes a real difference in people's lives!
What You'll Be Doing
In this exciting role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting members, visitors, and guests with warmth and professionalism
- Processing memberships, bookings, and payments accurately and efficiently
- Responding to customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
- Providing information about centre programs, services, and facilities
- Handling customer feedback and resolving issues with a positive, solution-focused approach
- Supporting the daily operations of the centre's front desk and reception area
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception environment
- Collaborating with aquatics, fitness, and management teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who brings energy, positivity, and a genuine love for helping people. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service role (experience in a leisure, fitness, or aquatics environment is a bonus!)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Confidence using computer systems and point-of-sale software
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
