Reports to: Head of R&D
Salary: £46,000 per annum
Responsibility:
1. Design, develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, process and organise data from R&D activities, laboratory-related systems, internal platforms and external sources.
2. Design and maintain databases and data models to support R&D and business requirements.
3. Develop and maintain automated ETL/ELT processes and data-processing workflows to improve processing efficiency and reduce manual work.
4. Develop data validation and quality-control processes to identify missing, duplicated or inconsistent data.
5. Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations between databases, software applications and third-party platforms.
6. Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of R&D workflows.
7 Transform raw data into structured and validated datasets for reporting, analysis, R&D activities and other business applications.
8. Work with R&D and technical teams to translate operational requirements into practical software and data solutions.
9. Maintain technical documentation covering databases, data pipelines, integrations and automation workflows.
10. Troubleshoot data, software and integration issues and continuously improve the performance, reliability and scalability of internal data systems.
