Zatlas is the technology and intelligence layer between hotels, their OTA partners and their direct channels — the system that catches the revenue hotels don't even know they're losing. We automate the recovery of uncharged virtual cards, uncollected cancellation fees, unreported no-shows and invalid payment methods, and give hotel operators real-time visibility into what is being left on the table and why. We are hiring an Engagement Manager to own some of our most important client relationships from day one.
Why this role, and why now
Backed by top-tier investors including Kaszek and Picus Capital, we've grown 5x year-over-year and are becoming the trusted financial partner for some of the largest hotel chains in the region. That growth puts more of our revenue — and more of our reputation — in the hands of the people who own client relationships.
This is a seat with real responsibility and real exposure. You will sit across the table from Presidents, CFOs and General Managers, walk them through financial analyses, defend recommendations under pressure, and earn the kind of trust that turns a vendor into a long-term partner. You won't be shadowing a senior person into these rooms — you'll be the person in the room, carrying the analysis, the recommendation and the relationship yourself.
What you will own
1. The client engagement and relationship
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of hotel clients across Mexico and LATAM.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with senior operators and owners — CEOs, CFOs, GMs, Revenue Managers.
- Navigate difficult conversations, pushback and high-pressure negotiations without losing the relationship.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and turn insights into revenue that leads to closing deals.
2. The analytics
- Build and present financial analyses that quantify the value opportunity for each client.
- Translate raw reservation data into clear, defensible business cases.
- Develop ROI models, multi-year projections and sensitivity analyses to support commercial decisions.
- Identify operational gaps — uncharged fees, invalid cards, unreported no-shows — and communicate findings with precision.
3. The strategic bridge
- Connect client needs with Zatlas product capabilities — and communicate gaps back to the team.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with data-driven narratives, not slide decks full of vanity metrics.
- Collaborate with operations and product to improve client outcomes and platform effectiveness.
- Stay ahead of OTA dynamics, hotel industry shifts and competitive movements that affect your accounts.
Who we are looking for
We're not hiring someone to execute a playbook. We're hiring someone who will write it alongside us.
Must have
- A problem-solver's instinct. When a client pushes back, your first move is to understand, reframe and propose a better path — not dig in or back down.
- Strong analytical ability: you can build a financial model, find the story in the data, and present it clearly to a skeptical CFO or CEO.
- Comfort with ambiguity — you make good decisions without a complete picture and know when to ask for help.
- The ability to propose new structures and solutions on the fly, not just defend what you prepared.
- Experience working cross-functionally — you will be the bridge between clients and our internal teams to develop new products.
- Medium to strong SQL — you can extract, clean and analyze data independently. Proficiency in BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau) and Excel / Google Sheets & Slides.
- 3+ years in strategy consulting, investment banking, a technology startup or a senior client-facing role. Bachelor's in Engineering, Economics, Data Science or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
HOW YOU OPERATE
- You lead with data but close with judgment — you know when the numbers tell the whole story, and how to use qualitative data to tell a powerful one.
- You think like an owner and treat your accounts like a business, not a task list.
- You read between the lines: you hear what's unsaid, connect it to what matters, and deliver before the client has to ask twice.
- You acknowledge what you don't know, in a way that builds trust rather than eroding it.
- You move fast without cutting corners — build a model, pressure-test it and present it in the same week.
- An MBA is a plus.
PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF
- You're looking for a steady-state client success role — this isn't it.
- You want to spend most of your time on relationship maintenance, upsell sequences or renewal tracking.
- You would rather execute an existing playbook than help write one.
- You'd prefer to shadow someone senior into client meetings before owning them yourself.
How we work
We care less about the job titles on your résumé and more about how you operate. We are low ego and high standards, with no bureaucracy between your ideas and execution. You will be expected to think strategically, build and defend financial analyses, and manage client engagements that are sometimes demanding and always high-stakes — working closely with operations and product to turn what you learn from clients into better outcomes and new products.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and equity tied to company growth and impact.
- A founding-team-level seat, with real influence over how the company, product and go-to-market motion evolve.
- Direct exposure to C-Level executives, operators, investors and senior hospitality leaders from day one.
- No bureaucracy between your ideas and execution — low ego, high standards.
- Accelerated growth: you'll move faster here than almost anywhere else.
