As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/d), you'll be the guardian of product quality, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Your tasks:

Technically design, develop and maintain automated tests, complemented by manual and exploratory testing, continuously growing our E2E test coverage in step with the product.

Collaborate within a dynamic, cross-functional team including a Product Owner, Software Engineers and a Designer in our agile environment, actively contributing to the development of new products and frontends.

Own, shape and refine our test strategies for the frontend, prioritizing based on risk and business impact, with a keen focus on delivering a seamless user experience for our customers while preventing any unwelcome surprises.

Proactively communicate test coverage, quality status and risks, enabling the team to make informed delivery decisions.

Act according to security, usability, and performance best practices to guarantee a superb user experience.

Own, expand and nurture our E2E test pipeline, keeping it stable, fast and reliable, and enabling tests for other teams while offering our own tests for integration into their pipelines.

Continuously improve our tests using new technologies and approaches.

Build a solid functional and high-level technical understanding of company-wide processes to effectively test complex user flows and identify edge cases.
What you offer us:

Several years of experience and a strong background in testing web applications.

Extensive hands-on experience in creating and maintaining automated frontend tests.

Thinking outside the box and exploring multiple ways to test, including E2E UI tests, accessibility, page performance, and more.

Active communication and collaboration with other QAs to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and learn from each other.

Proficiency in the Playwright test framework using TypeScript, or comparable hands-on experience with other modern E2E frameworks such as Cypress.

Experience in maintaining and improving CI/CD test pipelines, including diagnosing and resolving flaky tests.

A solid grasp of working within a microservices environment where features are frequently and rapidly released (continuous delivery).

An enthusiasm for collaborative work within self-organized teams, coupled with the willingness to take full ownership and responsibility for quality topics.

A proactive communication style and excellent communication skills in English, fostering a collaborative and cooperative atmosphere; German is appreciated but not required.
